Discussion on the Iraqi Budget at Nawroz University
The College of Law and Politics at Nawroz University organized an academic lecture on Wednesday, 24 September 2025, at 10:30 a.m., delivered by Dr. Sleman Mohammed Sleman, Head of the Department of Politics, under the title:
“The Deficit of the Iraqi General Budget and Methods of Addressing It: A Legal Analytical Study for the Period 2016–2025.”
The lecture highlighted the main factors contributing to the deficit in the Iraqi general budget and presented several legal approaches for addressing it, based on an analytical study covering nearly a decade. The session also witnessed active engagement from faculty members and students, whose questions and interventions enriched the discussion.
