On Wednesday, 12 March 2025, at 10:30 a.m., Nawroz University, through the Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Strategic Horizons for Implementing E-Government in Kurdistan Regional Government Institutions.”
The seminar was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq, Vice President of Nawroz University for Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs, along with college deans, faculty members, and students, and was organized in coordination with the General Directorate of Social Welfare, the General Directorate of Traffic in Duhok Governorate, the Duhok Customs Directorate, and the Bahdinan Institute (NGO).
The event addressed the role of digital transformation in improving governmental performance, enhancing transparency, and increasing administrative efficiency. It also discussed key technical and institutional challenges facing the implementation of e-government systems in the Kurdistan Region, while presenting practical perspectives for future development.
This seminar reflects Nawroz University’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence, institutional capacity building, and strengthening cooperation with public institutions and civil society organizations in support of sustainable development and higher education advancement.
