Symposium on the Impact of Emerging Electronic Platforms on Work Methods in the Accounting Profession
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the Department of Accounting at Nawroz University organized a symposium entitled “The Impact of Emerging Electronic Platforms on Work Methods in the Accounting Profession.”
The symposium was held in the presence of the University Vice President, Prof. Dr. Hogar Taher Tofiq, the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Assistant Professor Dr. Halowan Husni Othman, along with a number of faculty members, students, and representatives from relevant organizations.
This academic activity, organized in collaboration with the Rand Institute and in coordination with the Accountants Syndicate, highlights Nawroz University’s role as a leading institution in the Kurdistan Region (Group B universities classification), committed to:
• Advancing academic knowledge in response to technological developments,
• Strengthening the connection between theory and professional practice,
• Promoting institutional collaboration with industry and professional bodies,
