Within the activities of an international conference organised by the University of Warwick under the title: Women in World (-) Literature, Dr. Yasser Hassan Ali (from Nawroz University) with Dr. Clemence Scalbert-Yucel and Dr. Farangis Ghaderi (from the University of Exeter), prepared a joint research paper entitled: Gaining Voice, Creating a Safe Space: Women Writers in the Bahdinani Kurdish Literary Field. The paper was presented via the electronic platform (Microsoft Teams) within the activities of the conference, which was held in Coventry in the UK, and lasted for two days, 22-23/6/2022.
It is worth mentioning that the three researchers had previously published a co-edited book entitled: Women's Voices from Kurdistan: A Selection of Kurdish Poetry, where the book was published by Transnational Press in London.
