The Dean of the College of Languages and the Head of the Kurdish Department participated in an academic conference held in Amed, Turkey , May 1 – 2 , 2017 on the "Standardization of Kermanji Kurdish". Asst. Professor Izzuddin R. Mohammed delivered a seminar on "Language Policy and Planning in the Kurdistan Region".
