The Department of English of College of Languages at NU cooperated with Da Vinci School International to hold its first symposium in this year, on Tuesday, 7/12/2021, 10:00 AM.
The symposium included many informative and useful panels for the audience. On the first day of the symposium, which lasted for two days, Da Vinci School presented their panel,” About Da Vinci School International”, where they gave important information on their program, and how to get a international baccalaureate from there. Later that day, another panel was presented. In this panel, two seminars were given. The first seminar, under the title, “Teacher Competencies”, was on how teachers can develop and improve ,especially in their competency. Then, the secondly presented seminar was on how to literally adapt movies in an academic manner, by the title of, “Literary Adaptation in Movies”.
On the second day of the symposium, two more seminars were given. The first one
being, “Active Education”, and the other, “Why Study Literature”?
At the end of the symposium, NU and Da Vinci School honored each other on their efforts throughout the two days, and for coming together to hold this informative symposium.
