About the Symposium
The faculty of law and politics is one of the faculties of Nawroz University founded in 2004. The college grants BA degree in Law and International relations for the morning and evening studies.
The college prepares specialized legal cadres for the scientific and judicial institutions and enables the student to have the complete knowledge and understanding of the provisions of applicable laws and their relation to the scientific reality.
The college gives legal advice to various state institutions and prepares workshops and training courses to various sectors of society in addition to its academic activities.
As well as, the college of law and Politics aims to graduate cadres possessing the knowledge in international politics and international relations. These cadres are capable of analyzing politics and forecasting the conditions of international relations, in addition the functions and duties of international organizations.
The Aims of the symposium
- Recognizing the Refugee circumstances in the Iraqi Kurdistan Region society.
- Introducing the efforts made by the Iraqi Government and Kurdistan Region Government to protect the refugee rights.
- Identifying the role played by the civil community institutions in protecting refugees rights in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
