Nawroz University Hosts Scientific Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Its Real-World Impact

The College of Science at Nawroz University organized a scientific symposium titled
“Artificial Intelligence in the Real World: Innovation, Ethics, and Impact” on Monday, 24 November 2025, at Rahmi Hakari Hall, with the participation of academics and students from several institutes and educational institutions.
The event opened with a speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq, Vice President of Nawroz University for Administrative, Financial, and Student Affairs, who emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence in modern fields and the need to keep pace with technological advancements in education and research.
The symposium also witnessed the attendance of Prof. Dr. Muayad Aghali Mirza, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, who took part in following the proceedings of the event.
The symposium program featured academic remarks, specialized student presentations, and two scientific discussion panels focusing on innovation, ethical considerations, and societal impact related to artificial intelligence, followed by an online scientific competition for participating students.
The organizing committee stressed that this event reflects Nawroz University’s strategic vision to support student innovation and to strengthen academic collaboration in emerging technological fields.
