Nawroz University Signs MoU with Ararat Institute to Expand Opportunities for Students

On the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, President of Nawroz University, received an official delegation from Ararat Institute, headed by Dr. Idris Ali Hassan, Dean of the Institute. The delegation included several faculty members and heads of departments. The meeting was also attended by Professor Dr. Muayad Aghali, Vice President for Scientific Affairs, along with members of the University Council.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation, with a strong emphasis on student-centered initiatives. The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that includes several provisions designed to benefit students، most notably, special offers for Ararat Institute students who wish to continue their studies at Nawroz University. The agreement also covers academic exchange programs and broader collaboration in areas typically outlined in institutional partnerships.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman stressed the importance of this step within the broader vision of the University, stating:
“At the University of Nawroz, we place strong emphasis on building academic partnerships that improve the quality of education and provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for our students.”
