President of Nawroz University Participates in the NAFSA Global Conference

As part of Nawroz University’s efforts to enhance its international academic presence and expand academic collaboration networks, the President of Nawroz University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, is participating in the 2025 NAFSA Annual Conference, the world’s largest gathering of professionals in the field of international education. This year’s conference is being held in San Diego, USA.

This official participation is part of a ministerial delegation from the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, led by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The delegation includes sixteen university presidents representing both public and private universities in the region. The conference will take place from May 24 to June 9, 2025.

The importance of this conference lies in its role as a platform for fostering cooperation with international universities and institutions, showcasing Nawroz University’s academic and research programs, and exploring opportunities for partnerships in areas such as student and faculty exchange, academic collaboration, and institutional capacity development.
