As part of its commitment to strengthening the practical learning experience of its students, the College of Administration and Economics – Department of Media and Journalism Management at Nawroz University organized a scientific visit to WAAR TV Channel on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

During the field trip, students toured the various departments of the channel, which is specialized in covering Kurdish heritage and folklore. The channel’s management provided a detailed explanation of the professional mechanisms of media work in specialized institutions.

The visit also featured a short lecture by journalist Aisar Mohammed, who shared insights from his professional experience as a sports media specialist.

Supervised by Lecturer Abdulkhaliq Sultan, the visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to different forms of specialized journalism and to enable them to directly engage with the professional media environment.
