Nawroz University Hosts a Scientific Symposium on Project Feasibility in Changing Investment Environments

With the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, President of Nawroz University, and Prof. Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq, his Assistant, the College of Administration and Economics at Nawroz University, in cooperation with Ararat Institute and the Kurdistan Economists Union – Duhok Branch, organized a scientific symposium entitled:
“Research and Evaluation of Project Feasibility in Light of Continuous Changes in the Investment Environment.”
The symposium commenced with an opening speech delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Helovan Husni, Dean of the College of Administration and Economics. He welcomed the attendees and highlighted the importance of feasibility studies, particularly within rapidly evolving investment environments and market dynamics.
Held on Tuesday, 25/11/2020, at Rahmi Hakari Hall, the symposium witnessed significant academic participation and strong student engagement. Discussions focused on modern scientific approaches to evaluating investment projects, in addition to the effects of local and global market fluctuations on economic decision-making and risk assessment.
The event concluded with enriching questions and insightful contributions from attendees, reaffirming Nawroz University’s commitment to enhancing scientific research and strengthening the link between academic knowledge and practical economic development.
