On Tuesday (17/2/2026) at 10:00 a.m., in the presence of the University President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, and the Head of the Kurdish Writers’ Union in Duhok, a symposium was organized under UNESCO’s theme “Youth Voices in Multilingual Education” on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. On this occasion, the sixth issue of the magazine “Mother Language” was released under the patronage of Nawroz University, and a book exhibition was inaugurated by Nalband Foundation with a 50% discount.
