Nawroz University Organizes Symposium on Financial Disputes Between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government
On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM, Nawroz University hosted an academic symposium entitled “Principles of Financial Disputes Between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government – A Legal, Economic, and Political Perspective.”
The event was organized by the Department of Law in collaboration with the Office of the Iraqi Parliament in Duhok and in coordination with the Kurdistan Economists Union – Duhok Branch. It was attended by Prof. Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq, Vice President of Nawroz University, Prof. Dr. Dilshad Abdulrahman Yousif, Dean of the College of Law and Politics, alongside a distinguished group of faculty members, experts, and representatives of relevant institutions.
The symposium provided a platform for in-depth discussion of the legal, political, and economic dimensions of financial issues between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government.
