As part of Nawroz University’s academic activities, Asst. Lecturer Haval Bangin Qasim participated in the 11th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences, held in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
During the conference, he presented a research paper entitled “Using a Machine Learning Approach in Financial Market Systems to Describe the Nature of Gold Trading from 2014 to 2024 Using the Gaussian Mixture Model.” The study employs advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques to analyze spatiotemporal trends and behavioral patterns in gold trading over the past decade.
In addition to his research contribution, Asst. Lecturer Qasim served as a member of the conference committee and acted as Rapporteur for the First Scientific Session. This participation reflects the active role of Nawroz University’s faculty in contributing to international scientific discourse and advancing the application of AI-driven solutions in financial data analysis.
