On Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., Nawroz University organized its first Annual Student Festival, under the patronage of Mr. Idris Nechirvan Barzani, Chairman and Founder of Vision Education, and in the presence of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, President of Nawroz University, alongside members of the University Council, Board of Trustees, faculty members, and students.

The event commenced with the inauguration of a large exhibition, featuring 65 projects prepared by Nawroz University students across various cultural, scientific, engineering, and medical disciplines. The exhibition provided a platform for showcasing the academic excellence and diverse talents of the students.

The festival also included five student-led cultural symposium and witnessed the publication of a special student newspaper addressing a variety of topics.

It is noteworthy that the festival extended over a period of five consecutive days, welcoming visitors from cultural organizations and educational institutions across the city of Duhok.
