On 27/9/2025, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced the inclusion of Nawroz University among the accredited private universities for the academic year 2025–2026.
According to the Ministry’s decision, the university will allocate its study seats to students in line with official regulations, allowing them to apply directly.
This accreditation reaffirms Nawroz University’s distinguished academic standing and its active role in serving students and society by providing a modern learning environment that meets the highest international standards. It is also noteworthy that Nawroz University has achieved the “B” ranking, the highest classification granted by the Ministry to both public and private universities in the Kurdistan Region.
