As part of its efforts to strengthen cultural and academic ties, Nawroz University welcomed a cultural delegation from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Erbil on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
The delegation was warmly received by the President of the University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mevan Arif Abdulrahman, along with the university’s Vice Presidents, Prof. Dr. Muayad Aghaly and Prfo. Dr. Hoger Taher Tawfiq, and the Dean of the College of Languages, Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdulqader Omar. Also in attendance were several college deans, faculty members, and a large number of students.
The visit featured an interactive cultural seminar during which the visiting delegation delivered an engaging presentation on China’s history, language, identity, and cultural heritage, highlighting key aspects of its ancient civilization. The seminar sparked significant interest and dialogue among the attendees.
This event reflects Nawroz University’s ongoing commitment to cultural openness and international engagement, aiming to promote academic collaboration and mutual understanding between the Kurdistan Region and the People’s Republic of China.
